Stefanini Group is hiring for a Scrum Master at various locations across the USA on a hybrid schedule. Candidates must be W2.
Responsibilities
- Plans, leads, organizes, and coaches one or more cross-functional teams on how to implement and improve Agile practices.
- Leads the coordination and facilitation of sprint planning and task definition, sprint execution, impediment removal and tracking, iteration review and retrospectives.
- Acts as a primary communication hub between program and product management teams and the application development team to foresee risks, formulate plans, and organize activities to ensure sprints are completed on time.
- Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution by encouraging transparency and building trust among team members.
- Works with Product Owners and Managers to support short and long‑term release planning, and to keep the work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.
- Partners with program and release managers in production deployment activities.
- Leads the development, analysis, tracking, and communication of the team's agile adoption and progress metrics, including velocity, burn‑down, cycle time, and other quality metrics.
- Acts as a change agent and adapts processes to maximize productivity of the team.
- Ensures efficient communication between the agile team and the Product Owner, and other scrum teams.
- Manages and resolves dependencies across scrum teams.
- Drives cross‑functional projects of medium to complex scope.
- Coaches the agile team on user story sizing and acceptance criteria definition.
- Coaches the team on how to implement and improve its Agile practices.
- Partners with the team in production deployment activities.
- Works with other Scrum Masters in coordinating scrum‑of‑scrum activities across teams.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or another related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work through changing requirements and priorities under demanding deadlines and operational crisis situations, while maintaining multiple concurrent priorities and developing long‑term goals and operating plans.
- Ability to effectively navigate and achieve results that have cross‑functional, cross‑district, and system impact.
- Strong communication skills, including outstanding presentation and persuasion capabilities for diverse audiences such as technical staff, peers, senior management, and oversight bodies.
- Expertise in relationship management and an exemplary ability to manage stakeholder expectations through clear and transparent communications.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with appropriate judgment, discretion, and maturity.
- Demonstrates mutual respect, embraces diversity, equity and inclusion, and acts with authenticity.
Preferred Skills / Certifications
- Knowledge of multiple agile development methodologies and frameworks.
- Understanding of the basic fundamentals of iterative and incremental development.
- Experience leading teams.
- CSM, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
Compensation
Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market conditions. Some positions may include bonuses or other incentives.
