Job Description
Western North Carolina Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Community Health Center / Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving underserved communities in Western North Carolina.
WNCCHS is seeking a mission-minded family medicine physician to provide full-scope patient-centered, integrated team-based, and trauma-informed care for vulnerable populations across the lifespan.
Family Medicine Physicians collaborate with behavioral health, pharmacy, dental, and care management teams to provide whole-person, integrated care to individuals and families, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. LEARN MORE
QUALIFICATIONS:
MD/DO from accredited school of medicine and completion of accredited residency program required
Current, unrestricted North Carolina MD or DO licensure, DEA and BLS required
Must be Medicaid and Medicare eligible
Board Certification is preferred
Experience in community health or outpatient care preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or Russian is a plus
HIV care experience a plus
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: $190,000 to $220,000 (based on 40 hours/week)
