Role Description

The Senior Accountant will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial records to ensure accuracy and adherence to compliance standards. Core responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers, reconciling financial statements, managing audits, monitoring budgets, and preparing tax filings. Additional tasks involve supervising account payables and receivables, implementing financial controls, and liaising with other departments for financial planning.

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai, offering an opportunity to work with a leading steel solutions provider in the construction industry.

Strong accounting expertise, including financial reporting, budgeting, and taxationProficiency in using accounting software and ERP systemsExperience in audits, compliance, and financial controlsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAt least 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction or steel industryBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an advanced degree or CPA/CA qualification is a plusAbility to work independently, manage teams, and handle tight deadlinesStrong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
