Join WSP’s Rail & Transit team in Toronto and play a key role in the architectural development of LRT and transit station infrastructure that supports safe, accessible, and people‑centred transportation networks across Ontario and Canada.
Your Impact
- Supporting architectural design development for rail and transit stations, ancillary buildings, and public‑facing spaces.
- Coordinating architectural layouts, finishes, spatial planning, and accessibility requirements across multidisciplinary teams.
- Working closely with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and systems disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.
- Assisting with requirements verification, validation, traceability, and interface management throughout design development.
- Participating in design reviews, technical workshops, and interface coordination meetings.
- Providing construction‑phase support, including site reviews, design clarifications, and architectural submittal reviews.
- Supporting testing, commissioning, and O&M readiness from an architectural and user‑experience perspective.
- Collaborating with LRT partners, municipal authorities, utilities, and third‑party stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or Architectural Science.
- Experience supporting transit, rail, underground stations, or large‑scale public infrastructure projects.
- Solid understanding of architectural detailing, building codes, accessibility standards, materials, and finishes.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to navigate complex technical and stakeholder interfaces.
Compensation
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $80,800 – $107,000
- MB & ON: $73,700 – $101,500
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $73,000 – $96,900
