EMEA Recruitment is partnering with a global organisation to recruit an Senior Compliance Manager.
This role sits at the heart of the organisation’s regional compliance framework, with responsibility for strengthening ethics, risk management, and investigation processes across EMEA. You will work closely with regional and global Legal & Compliance stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to the business while driving consistency, clarity, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the ongoing development, standardisation, and enhancement of the Ethics & Compliance programme across EMEA
- Monitor and assess regulatory and legal developments, translating changes into practical compliance guidance for the business
- Contribute to the design, implementation, monitoring and auditing of policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulatory requirements
- Lead regional compliance risk assessments, including third‑party risk management initiatives
- Deliver training and awareness initiatives to employees and business partners, promoting a strong culture of ethics and accountability
- Over and enhance incident management processes, including whistleblowing frameworks, regulatory reporting obligations, and internal investigations
- Lead internal investigations and case management activities across EMEA, with involvement in global matters where required
- Collaborate closely with global Legal & Compliance leadership and regional teams to improve data, reporting, and compliance analytics
Requirements:
- Degree in Law (LLM)
- Proven professional experience working within the Netherlands, ideally in a multinational or matrix organisation
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, investigations, whistleblower programmes, and risk assessment methodologies
- Experience operating across multiple jurisdictions within EMEA with Ability to balance regulatory rigour with commercial pragmatism
- German language skills are desirable, alongside fluent English
- Confident stakeholder manager, comfortable operating at both business and senior leadership level
