About the Role
Wrike is seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Paralegal for Legal Operations to serve as a key operational contributor to the legal team and trusted resource to the General Counsel. This role is designed for a career in-house professional who can bridge the gap between substantive legal execution and departmental strategy, ensuring the legal team remains “deal-ready” through robust operational infrastructure and process management.
Your Impact
- Executive Legal Support: Provide substantive support to the General Counsel and, by proxy, the executive leadership team on high-priority projects, strategic initiatives, and sensitive corporate matters.
- Legal Tech Ownership: Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of the department’s “Tech Stack,” including Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), e-billing, and entity management platforms.
- Corporate Governance: Manage the global lifecycle of the company and all affiliates, including formations, foreign qualifications, and state registrations; maintain good standing across all jurisdictions where the company is registered to do business; and oversee all minute books, resolutions, and organizational charts.
- Process Engineering: Identify and drive internal workflow optimizations to streamline collaboration between the Legal team and other business functions (Finance, HR, Sales).
- Budget & Vendor Management: Act as the primary liaison for outside counsel and other legal vendors; manage billing compliance, process invoices and track legal spend against POs and annual budget, and evaluate vendor performance.
- Knowledge Management: Maintain an organized, “deal-ready” document environment for all corporate documentation and secretary’s certificates to support potential audits or transactions.
Your Qualifications
- Certification: Active ABA-approved Paralegal Certification is strictly required.
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal specifically within in-house corporate legal departments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- In-House Expertise: Deep understanding of corporate formalities and the unique operational needs of a private company legal department.
- Operational Mindset: Demonstrated experience in project management and the successful implementation of legal technology solutions.
- Executive Presence: Ability to communicate clearly and operate with absolute discretion in a leadership-facing environment.
Team Dynamics
You will be joining a tight-knit legal team of six. We operate as genuine peers — the General Counsel leads with a skills-first philosophy, treating every team member with respect and expecting the same in return. Personality and the ability to collaborate across the team are as important to us as technical expertise.
