Senior Director, Talent Strategy & Development
MHS is seeking a Senior Director, Talent Strategy & Development to drive alignment, sequencing, execution, and ongoing stewardship of the School's long term talent strategy. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role ensures talent priorities are fully aligned with the Strategic Framework, Sacred Values, and mission driven goals. The Senior Director partners with senior leaders to operationalize strategy through an integrated talent framework spanning workforce planning, recruiting, leadership and professional development, succession planning, performance management, and culture alignment.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide talent strategy, execution, and governance with Integrity and Commitment to Mission
- Strengthen leadership capability and succession pipelines by building leadership readiness
- Improve workforce readiness and mitigate enterprise talent risk using strategic thinking and data informed planning
- Align performance management, culture, and values-based systems to reinforce Mutual Respect and a Positive Spirit
- Advise senior leaders on people priorities with sound judgment, candor, and mission focus
- Serve as a Courageous Communicator, addressing misalignment with clarity, respect, and accountability
- Manage staff, vendors, budgets, and technology while stewarding resources responsibly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in business, organizational development, or related field
- Minimum of eight years of experience in strategic talent leadership roles
- Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders to design and implement integrated talent systems aligned with values and culture
- Proven success translating strategy into measurable outcomes while driving for results
- Strong organizational, analytical, and systems thinking capabilities to prioritize effectively and lead with discipline and accountability
- Sets and exemplifies high standards leadership. Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
