Senior Finance Manager

We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join our team in Oakland, California. In this role, you will lead financial planning and analysis efforts, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate forecasting and budgeting while ensuring the organization’s financial goals are achieved.

Responsibilities:

• Lead short- and long-term financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and planning
• Analyze and report financial results; improve close processes and forecast accuracy
• Partner with leaders to deliver insights, manage KPIs, and support strategic decisions
• Drive process improvements, cost savings, and capital planning
• Manage capital approvals and evaluate investments, M& A, and divestitures
• Prioritize investments, monitor performance, and assess financing options
• Deliver strategic analysis, executive/Board support, and develop FP& A talent

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related; MBA preferred
• 6+ years of FP& A experience, ideally in retail, with strong understanding of P& L, cash flow, and balance sheet
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to solve complex problems
• Passion for process, system, and tool improvement
• Excellent communicator able to translate financial insights for non-finance partners
• Collaborative, self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn
• Public company and GAAP knowledge a plus
• Advanced Excel skills required; experience with financial planning systems preferred
