Role DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead and manage residential design projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong design expertise along with proven leadership skills to guide and manage the design team effectively, while ensuring a smooth client experience throughout the project lifecycle.

This role involves end-to-end client handling, structured design process management, team supervision, and coordination with execution teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time with the highest quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesHandle clients from initial discussion to project closure, ensuring a smooth and professional experienceAttend and respond to client calls/messages promptly, maintaining clear and consistent communicationUnderstand client requirements, lifestyle needs, and budget in detailConduct site visits, verify measurements, and assess project feasibilityEnsure all design updates, revisions, and approvals are properly tracked and communicated to clients and internal teamsDevelop innovative design concepts, layouts, and mood boardsPrepare and review detailed 2D drawings (AutoCAD) and 3D visualizations (SketchUp/V-Ray)Guide, manage, and supervise the design team for consistent quality outputAllocate tasks, review team work, and provide clear direction and constructive feedbackMentor junior designers and support their professional growthOversee material selection, finishes, and color schemes aligned with project goalsPresent design proposals confidently and handle client feedback effectivelyCoordinate with execution teams, vendors, and project managers for smooth implementationMonitor project progress and resolve design-related issues proactivelyEnsure timely delivery while maintaining premium design standardsStay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, and sustainable practices

Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree or Diploma in Interior Design or a related field5-10 years of experience in residential interior designStrong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and V-Ray (Photoshop/3ds Max is an added advantage)Strong client handling and communication skills, including calls, meetings, and presentationsProven experience in guiding or managing a design teamAbility to handle the complete design lifecycle independentlyStrong leadership, team management, and decision-making skillsExcellent presentation and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong eye for detail with the ability to balance creativity and executionExperience in sales (converting leads) will be an added advantage
