Job Description Job Description Team Red Dog is hiring a Senior IT Project Manager (UAT & Release Management) for our client, a leading cloud and software provider. This fully remote (PST or EST!) role is central to driving enterprise-scale testing, QA, and release execution across global platforms that power critical data center operations. You'll lead user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinate cross-functional release activities, and ensure high-quality delivery across complex, multi-region environments.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves): Release Management & UAT Execution – Lead end-to-end UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and sign-off processes across enterprise systems Azure DevOps (ADO) or Equivalent Tools – Create and manage test plans, test cases, and defect tracking within structured delivery pipelines Enterprise Systems Testing – Experience validating complex systems (ERP, procurement, operations platforms) across global environments Technical Writing – Develop clear documentation including test plans, status reports, rollout procedures, and executive summaries Opportunity Overview: This role offers the opportunity to lead high-visibility global release initiatives that directly impact data center operations and enterprise platform performance. You'll operate across multiple time zones, partnering with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless system rollouts and high-quality user experiences at scale.
How you will make an impact: • Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test planning, execution, and sign-off • Create and manage test plans, test cases, and defects in Azure DevOps • Coordinate UAT kickoffs, tester onboarding, and cross-functional alignment • Monitor testing progress, remove blockers, and ensure timelines are met • Partner with engineering teams during SIT and release validation • Act as the primary point of contact during releases, communicating status, risks, and mitigation plans • Track risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating as needed • Drive operational readiness for go-live including training, communications, and documentation • Maintain release artifacts such as test plans, defect logs, and executive summaries • Facilitate global working sessions across AMER, EMEA, and APAC time zones The expertise you bring: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred • PMP or PMI certification preferred • 5–7 years of project or program management experience in enterprise environments • Proven experience leading UAT and release management activities • Strong understanding of full release lifecycle including SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-release stabilization • Experience working in complex, multi-platform systems environments • Strong organizational, risk management, and stakeholder communication skills • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt in fast-changing environments What makes a candidate highly successful in this role: Successful candidates demonstrate strong ownership of testing and release processes, consistently deliver high-quality work, and operate independently with minimal oversight.
