Our client is looking for a Principal Business Analyst to lead the crucial transition of their Learning Management System (LMS) from Saba to Cornerstone Galaxy. In this role, you will drive the discovery, analysis, and documentation of requirements, ensuring a smooth migration and optimal user experience. You will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), LMS administrators, and technology teams throughout the entire process, which includes validating data, testing learning materials, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
This position demands excellent analytical skills, structured communication, and the ability to manage complex projects in Agile environments.

Rate: $60.00 to $70.00/hr. W2
Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements through interviews, workshops, and analysis of existing documentation using techniques such as data flow modeling and workflow analysis.
- Document current and future state processes and requirements for LMS.
- Lead discovery and analysis for LMS migration, including content inventory, data mapping, and process alignment.
- Create and maintain analysis and requirements documentation using tools such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint.
- Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to analyze learning and talent development processes.
- Act as a liaison among stakeholders, LMS administrators, and technology teams to align on migration strategy.
- Work with product teams to refine requirements and remove roadblocks related to LMS implementation and migration milestones.
- Support data migration verification, including validating migrated data and testing learning content.
- Contribute to testing, training, and implementation activities for LMS migration.
- Support change management efforts by developing training materials and communications for the transition.
- Monitor and report on project progress, timelines, and risks during the LMS migration.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data integrity and user adoption during the transition.
- Manage large-scale projects, including LMS migration deliverables and cross-functional dependencies.
Experience Requirements:
- 4+ years as a Business Analyst in Agile Scrum or Kanban environments, including data analysis and UAT.
- Proven experience supporting LMS implementations or migrations, preferably with Saba and Cornerstone; Cornerstone Galaxy experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of LMS concepts such as content structures, reporting, and integrations with HRIS systems like Workday.
- Experience with data migration, including mapping and validation.
- Functional design and data flow diagramming expertise.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and the MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of Workday HCM and direct experience with Saba and Cornerstone preferred.
