Designation: Sr Manager LegalLocation: Cochin Education: LLB (Mandatory)RoleTo manage Motor Third Party Claims Portfolio Compensation cases arising out of motor policiesHandling litigation related to retail loan recovery and defending the casesTo analyze the trends and steer the team for optimum performanceTo monitor Lawyers performance and ensure they adhere to Company's ethics and performance standardsKeep the team updated with latest legal position and interpretations of the relevant provisions / lawsStrategize defence line and guide on appropriate evidence being led to protect the interests of the CompanyTo prepare and submit various regulatory reports and comply with adhoc reports or data requirements from various authorities, auditors from time to timeHandling of MACT mattersDrafting and vetting of Legal documents including written objections and arguments to be filed in court.Handling of Appeals and Writ Petitions filedProviding Legal assistance to other departments as required.
