The Advancement Division is responsible for inspiring and securing impactful giving in support of SIF’s mission – which is to uplift lives and create greater understanding between Singaporeans and world communities through shared ideas, skills and experience.

Responsibilities:Project management (including budget and vendor management).Conduct research to identify potential donors and philanthropic opportunities.Plan, organise and execute fundraising communication activities, including those that leverage digital technologies and social media. Develop and produce compelling pitches and proposals to support fundraising efforts.Produce compelling advancement communication content, for example (though not limited to) fundraising brochures, thank-you letters, stewardship reports, speeches, and scripts.Ensure accuracy in all advancement communications.Assist in developing advancement policies, papers, agreements, work processes and other documents where required.Assist in organising advancement events where needed.Support in any other tasks as assigned by the organisation.
Requirements:A bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field, from a recognised university.With 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.Advanced writing, editing, and oral communication skills; ability to adapt writing styles for different purposes, formats, and audiences.Strong information gathering and processing skillsStrong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.Strong organisational, project management and problem-solving skills.Sound knowledge of design and print production process, and experience in producing content in multi-media formats will be preferred.Experience in fundraising communications in the non-profit sector will be a strong advantage.Ability to write and edit letters, proposals, emcee scripts and other fundraising and stewardship materials in Chinese, to effectively engage and communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including donors and partners, will be an advantage.Possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to build consensus and work with a variety of stakeholders.Creative and innovative.Able to think strategically. Flexible and adaptive mindset.Open and willing to work in a matrix team structure. Singaporean.
