About the Company
We are an early-stage deep-tech startup building cutting-edge AI-driven hardware + software systems for vision-based autonomy in robotics. Our solutions are deployed in Defence and Aerospace applications, designed to operate in harsh and mission-critical environments. We are engineering the next generation of visual autonomy through ultra-compact, ultra-reliable multi-spectral payloads featuring onboard video processing, jitter stabilization, and intelligent perception.
If you’re excited about pushing the boundaries of autonomous robotics and building real impact-driven technology, you’ll thrive here.
We are hiring a mid-level Mechanical/Product Design Engineer to develop and refine mechanical structures for camera gimbal payload systems used in drones. The role is fully onsite at our Pune office and involves hands-on design, prototyping, and collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and assemblies for 2-axis / 3-axis gimbal-stabilized camera systems
- Create structural designs for brackets, enclosures, linkages, isolation mounts, precision subassemblies
- Execute tolerance stack-ups and GD&T for tight-tolerance mechanisms
- Conduct structural, vibrational, and thermal assessments for airborne applications
- Prototype mechanical designs using rapid fabrication methods
- Work closely with electronics, optics, and embedded teams for integrated system design
- Prepare technical drawings, BOMs, assembly instructions, and specifications
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners and fabrication shops
- Maintain design documentation through PDM/PLM tools
Qualifications & Experience (Must Have’s)
