Senior Payroll Officer

Seeking a Senior Payroll Officer who comes with experience in high-volume payroll with a high casual workforce, and fast-paced environments.

The Role:

• 12-month FTC with an immediate start
• Flexible working arrangements
• Malvern location with free parking
• Up to $100k base + super

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll and all key functions relating to the payment of employees
• Manage and maintain all documentation and records including employee master files
• Process leave applications and authorised amendments to salaries and wages
• Work cover payments and reimbursements
• Identify and implement payroll process improvements
• Ensure compliance with Single Touch Payroll requirements
• Address all payroll queries with efficiency and within an acceptable timeframe
• Prepare varying complex payroll calculations in relation to terminations, redundancies, entitlements and deductions
• Contribute to the End of Financial Year Reconciliations & Finalisation Payroll Compliance
• Manage payroll tax reconciliations
• Prepare Superannuation documentation and reporting

Key Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in end to end payroll
• Experience working in high-volume environments with a high volume of casual employees
• Australian payroll experience and understanding of awards
