Senior Power BI Analyst (Contractual Role), A leading luxury Tavel Company, Bengaluru

Job Summary:This Senior Power BI Analyst role offers an opportunity to own and deliver Power BI dashboards for business critical programmes and initiatives, working as part of the central BI team in Bangalore. The role is hands-on, delivery-focused, and will work closely with senior stakeholders to build, maintain, and evolve dashboards used for business decision-making.

About the company:Our client is a luxury travel company founded in 2004, specialized in crafting tailor-made travel trips for travelers across more than 70 countries. The company has a presence in 17 countries with it's headquarter in UK and currently has a team of over 160 travel experts.

Note: 8-12 month of Contractual role

Designation : Senior Power BI Analyst

Roles & ResponsibiltySupport BI initiatives end-to-end by sourcing data and delivering accurate, timely dashboards and insights that inform decision-making for business stakeholders and managers.Consolidate and produce dashboards with key analyses, identifying trends and investigating variances.Collaboratively work with other analysts and the Data Integration team on an ongoing basis to ensure data integrity.Evolve our reporting to aid better data-driven decision-making.Apply Power BI for reporting by building, running, and manipulating reports with advanced knowledge is essential.Transform raw data into meaningful information and actionable insights.Build and evolve reporting, including intuitive data visualisations and dashboards, to support data-driven decision-making for senior stakeholders, including members of the leadership team.Work with large, complex datasets to identify business trends and opportunities.Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting outputs

RequirementStrong expertise in Power BI, including DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, and data modelling for building scalable, high-performing dashboards.Experience writing and understanding SQL would be advantageous.Experience optimising Power BI models and reports for performance and scalability.Good knowledge of Excel, including advanced formulas and functions.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and work effectively with very senior stakeholders, including leadership team members, translating complex or ambiguous requirements into clear, impactful reporting solutions.Proven ability to design intuitive, business-friendly dashboards with strong visual and analytical storytelling skills, presenting insights clearly and concisely to senior and executive audiences.Ability to work independently with limited guidance, prioritising workload and managing stakeholders effectively.Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.Good working knowledge of 'travel' data and reservation systems would be desirable.

Experience : 6-8 years of experience in BI, reporting, or analytics roles, with a strong track record of independently owning dashboard delivery end-to-end with confidence in manipulating large and complex data volumes.
