Senior Project BuyerIn this role you will lead strategic sourcing and supplier localization by driving zero based costing, negotiations, and end to end supplier management, also by ensuring strong cross functional alignment with engineering and quality teams while improving supplier performance and product cost efficiency. You will also focus on achieving material cost savings, quality compliance, and continuous process optimization. Your job:Perform zero based cost estimation for major engineering commodities to support strategic sourcing and cost optimizationCoordinate with Engineering, Product Development, and Quality teams to finalize localization specifications and ensure cross functional alignmentManage end to end sourcing processes including negotiations, contracting, supplier delivery, and quality assurance with clear impact on P&LOversee supplier lifecycle management from sourcing and evaluation to execution, delivery performance, and quality complianceIdentify and drive cost saving opportunities and operational improvements, especially in subcontracting and outsourced activitiesDevelop and optimize processes to ensure products meet company quality standards and align with local operating conditionsSupport management in improving supplier quality through structured assessments, feedback loops, and continuous improvement initiativesLeverage early supplier involvement and global commodity strategies to maximize synergies and achieve material cost optimization Our requirements:B.E.

Mechanical Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in procurement, supplier development, and manufacturing processesHands-on expertise in SAP MM with strong capability in handling end to end procurement and materials management activitiesProficient in negotiation, costing analysis, budgeting, and planning with a proven track record of driving cost-effective sourcing decisionsStrong technical knowledge in casting, machining, extrusion, injection molding, rubber parts, standard parts, and investment castingExcellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills with experience leading technical and commercial discussions during supplier localization
