Senior Software Engineer - Clearance Required

Basic Qualifications

• Experience working in an Agile development environment, including tools such as Jira and Confluence
• US citizenship required to obtain a government security clearance
• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearances
• Active/Final Secret Clearance or above to start the role
• Experience in software development using programming and scripting languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, etc.

Job Responsibilities

Support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP), including requirements analysis, object‑oriented analysis & design, coding & unit testing, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.

Desired Skills

• Experience in application containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.) in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/OpenStack/OpenShift)
• Experience with frameworks such as .NET Core, Angular, etc.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD - deployment pipelines, automated build, and/or configuration tools
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL & Redis)
• Strong knowledge of modern technology frameworks, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, DevOps, and data architecture.
• Experience with Horizon software application providing command and control services for satellites, antennas, and ground hardware assets.
• Experience with modern engineering practices such as cross‑functional Agile teams and capability‑based planning
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other engineering disciplines, or equivalent experience
