Job Description Job Description Senior DevOps/Software Engineer - Contract Position Duration: 6+ months (potential for extension) Location: Remote (local candidates preferred for occasional office visits) Start: Immediate What You'll Do: Build and maintain cloud infrastructure for robotics systems, implement automation, and ensure operational excellence. Must onboard quickly, learn independently, and work fast. Required: 10+ years in DevOps AND software development Expert-level AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation) Strong Python or Go development skills Proven ability with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code Advanced troubleshooting across distributed systems, networking, and OS Solid software engineering fundamentals (data structures & algorithms) Experience with microservice architecture including hardware integration Bonus: Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS experience Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) Observability tools and practices Security best practices and compliance Robotics systems experience Track record of high-impact AWS implementations Note: Must have BOTH DevOps expertise AND strong software engineering background.
