Job Description
Rocket Lab is an end‑to‑end space company delivering responsive launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, payloads, satellite components, and more – all with the goal of opening access space.
Our Electron rocket has become the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket annually and has delivered more than 230 satellites to orbit. Combined, we develop satellite and launch business.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop full‑stack web applications including database schema, back‑end services, front‑end interfaces, and ERP integrations.
- Build and maintain integrations between web applications and Rocket Lab's ERP system.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate enhancement requests and business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead software architecture discussions and approve design decisions.
- Review and approve code merge requests, maintaining high standards across the codebase.
- Participate in and facilitate Agile/scrum ceremonies including stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Deploy and support operational software, and deliver training to end users.
- Manage trade studies and contribute to technical documentation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; total work experience 9+ years.
- Experience defining and refining requirements with Business Analysts.
- Experience integrating with ERP systems.
- Technical experience in C#/.NET, Angular or other front‑end framework (React, Vue, etc.), REST APIs or GraphQL, relational databases, Git.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a scrum/agile environment.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
- Network programming (Sockets/WebSockets).
- Node.js/NPM build systems and tooling.
- Elasticsearch.
- Familiarity with procurement or supply chain processes.
- Deep familiarity with a specific ERP platform.
Additional Requirements
- Vision required: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, ability to focus.
- Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, operate computer keyboard and controls, and communicate verbally and in writing.
- Physically able to commute to buildings and may need to work outside business hours during key project phases.
- Occasional exposure to dust, fumes and moderate noise.
Salary
Base Pay Range (CA Only): $130,000 - $150,000 USD per year.

To comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for the location where they will work. For U.S. offices: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee/asylum, or eligible for required authorizations.
For New Zealand offices, citizenship of an eligible country (Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, EU, NATO members) or eligible dual citizenship is required. Background checks will include nationality checks.
