Senior Software Engineer Staff, Level 5 - Clearance Required

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer. In this role, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, object‑oriented analysis & design, coding and unit testing, integration, and support for formal test and delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages such as C and C++
• Ability to work with multi‑disciplined teams
• Experience with full software life cycle development—including software design, architecture, integration, and testing

Desired Skills

• Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience (e.g., GreenHill or VxWorks)
• Knowledge of Agile Software Development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements

Must be a US citizen and obtain Final Secret government security clearance prior to starting. Position located at a facility that requires special access.
