Job Description
As the Senior Vice President, Director of Operations, you will be a strategic partner to the Regional Executive, driving operational excellence across multiple business units in alignment with corporate objectives. This role is responsible for shaping and executing operational strategy, overseeing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the Florida Region operates efficiently, compliantly, and with long-term sustainability in mind. You will lead integration initiatives, implement internal controls, enhance business performance through data-driven decisions, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the regional operational strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
- Partner with regional and corporate leadership to drive long-term profitability and operational alignment.
- Develop and implement three-year strategic plans that integrate systems, policies, and procedures across business units.
- Serve as a key voice in regional planning, providing insight on risk, compliance, process improvement, and scalability.
- Lead and oversee operations teams across loan servicing, deposit operations, project management, and quality assurance.
- Develop KPIs and performance scorecards to measure effectiveness, productivity, and service delivery.
- Use data-driven analysis to identify performance gaps and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure alignment with internal control frameworks, including SOX compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the integration of regional systems and processes with corporate infrastructure.
- Guide cultural transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment across teams and smooth transition during change management.
- Drive innovation through oversight of regional project management office and digital transformation efforts.
- Strengthen and oversee the “three lines of defense” model, with a focus on operational resilience and internal controls.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services operations, preferably within regional or multi-site environments.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional operations teams and leading strategic change initiatives.
- Deep understanding of financial operations, loan servicing, deposit operations, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, AML, mortgage banking).
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and organizational development skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
