Senior wordpress/php developer | WFO | Jaipur

Location: Jaipur | WFO Experience: 5+ Years Type: Full-Time The Role As a Senior WordPress / PHP Developer , you won't just be "installing plugins." You will be responsible for designing the core logic of complex web applications, developing custom themes and plugins from scratch, and ensuring our platforms (and our clients') are optimized for speed, security, and SEO. Key Responsibilities Custom Development: Architect and develop bespoke WordPress themes and highly functional plugins using clean, modular PHP. Backend Architecture: Build and maintain robust backend logic using PHP/MySQL, ensuring seamless integration with third-party APIs (Payment gateways, CRM, Forex data feeds).

Performance Optimization: Implement advanced caching, database optimization, and code minification to achieve 90+ Core Web Vitals scores. Security: Proactively manage security protocols, vulnerability assessments, and data encryption (especially for our fintech and cybersecurity projects). Mentorship: Guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices for the development team.

Collaboration: Work closely with the SEO and Content teams to implement technical SEO requirements and schema markups. Technical Requirements PHP Mastery: Deep understanding of PHP (8.x), including OOP principles and MVC patterns. WordPress Core: Expert knowledge of the WordPress hook system (actions/filters), REST API, and Gutenberg block development.

Frontend Stack: Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with React.js is a significant plus. Database Management: Advanced MySQL skills, including query optimization and database schema design.

DevOps & Tools: Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and managing Linux-based hosting environments (AWS/DigitalOcean/Cloudways). Security & Compliance: Familiarity with OWASP principles and secure coding practices. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of Headless WordPress architectures.
