About the RoleYou will be involved in hands-on fabrication, testing, and optimization of electrochemical gas sensors. This includes working extensively in the laboratory, performing experiments, analyzing sensor data, and enhancing sensor performance through systematic experimentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, fabricate, and evaluate electrochemical gas sensorsConduct electrochemical experiments, including potentiometric measurements and electrochemical impedance spectroscopyOptimize electrodes, catalysts, electrolytes, and interfacesDevelop fabrication techniques such as screen printing and coatingPerform calibration, selectivity, and long-term stability testingAnalyze sensor data using Python, Excel, Origin, or MATLABCollaborate closely with Electronics, Mechanical, and Product Design teamsMaintain lab documentation, SOPs, and reportsSupport scaling up from prototypes to reproducible sensor batches
Qualifications and ExperienceB.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc/Ph.D. in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields2-4 years' experience in electrochemical or gas sensor developmentStrong understanding of electrochemical and redox principlesExperience with potentiostats and gas testing setupsData analysis and programming experience is a plusAbility to independently plan and troubleshoot experiments
