If you love social media, weddings, and the idea of taking real ownership over how a venue shows up online — this is a unique opportunity to make a real impact.
This is a local, part-time role based in the Hudson Valley / Westchester area, requiring a mix of on-site presence and remote work.
You’ll be working with:
- beautiful, professionally captured wedding content
- plus capturing and shaping additional content on-site to bring the full story to life

This is not just a posting role. We already have in-house support in place for content and day-to-day execution — what we need is someone who can own the direction, guide execution, and ensure what we’re putting out is actually driving results.
Social media is a core focus of this role, but you’ll also play a key part in shaping broader marketing efforts — including messaging, campaigns, and overall brand direction.
You’ll work closely with our team to align on direction while taking ownership of execution and day-to-day performance.
This is a hands-on role within a small, fast-moving team where your work will have a direct impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead social media strategy and content direction (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Plan and shape what we post — and continuously refine it based on what’s actually driving engagement and bookings
- Collaborate with in-house marketing support to guide content capture and ensure strong execution
- Own both strategy and execution — making sure ideas are carried through
- Capture and direct content on-site as needed (events, key moments, behind-the-scenes)
- Optimize content for engagement, reach, and conversion
- Contribute to marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives
- Contribute to website messaging and overall brand positioning
- Identify opportunities for broader marketing improvements (SEO, PR, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience with social media (strategy + execution)
- Someone who understands how to turn content into real business results
- Ability to think in terms of messaging, positioning, and conversion
- Comfortable working in a small business environment and taking ownership
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to execute as needed
- Strong understanding of Gen Z audiences and behavior
- Experience in hospitality, events, weddings, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus
- Someone who takes pride in what they create and wants to see it perform in the real world
- Regular on-site presence is required for content capture, planning, and key marketing initiatives (including some evenings and weekends)
- Must be able to be on-site as needed for content and marketing initiatives
- Part-time: 15–20 hours per week
- Flexible structure (independent contractor or salaried depending on fit)
