Position Summary We are looking for a Software Development Team Leader with a full-stack development background to deliver scalable software solutions.
You will work with a cross-functional team throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment. This role involves adapting to shifting project priorities and working across all application layers, including front end, middle layer, and databases. Responsibilities Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications.
Utilize your Python expertise to develop, maintain, and optimize software solutions with a focus on best practices. Ensure applications meet security standards and scalability requirements, integrating smoothly with other platforms as needed. Leverage AI tools to enhance software processes and automate repetitive tasks.
Deploy and optimize applications on AWS, applying knowledge of cloud architecture and services. Lead and mentor a team of software engineers throughout all phases of the development lifecycle. Plan and allocate resources for multiple projects while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather product requirements and technical specifications. Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for all software systems. Implement rigorous testing and debugging processes to ensure reliable and scalable products.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in development practices. Mentor team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and growth. Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and issues.
Other tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications / Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent experience. 12+ years of industry experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis, Design, and Programming.
Proficient in languages including Python, Java, .NET, C#, and familiar with software development frameworks and methodologies. Extensive experience managing software development teams and projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Agile development methodologies preferred. Hands-on experience with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, and Jenkins. Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Experience building APIs for seamless product integration. Ability to work on Agile Scrum and DevOps aligned teams. Willingness to learn new programming languages as necessary.
Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this role ranges from $185,000 to $225,000, determined through a review of your education, experience, and market data. Some positions may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. We offer paid time off, holidays, and comprehensive benefits plans including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as a 401K plan.
