Our client, based in Northern NJ, is seeking a hands‑on Software Engineer to lead the full development lifecycle—from design and implementation to testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance. This role demands strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, Agile environment. This position requires being onsite in the office 4 days a week – local candidates only (no relocation).

Candidates must be able to work without visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive, modular UI components using Angular (v8+), RxJS, and form validations
• Develop dynamic dashboards, patient‑facing interfaces, and secure workflows
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET Core
• Integrate business logic with identity providers, role‑based access control (RBAC), and audit‑compliant architecture
• Optimize stored procedures, indexes, and ETL scripts for high‑volume healthcare data
• Ensure PHI protection through encryption, data masking, and secure access controls

Preferred Experience

• Deploy applications via Azure App Services, Key Vault, and Azure DevOps pipelines
• Utilize Azure SQL, Storage, and monitoring tools for reliability and compliance
• Lead features from design to deployment in Agile sprints
• Collaborate with QA, PMs, and business analysts
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Build HIPAA‑compliant modules and integrate with EMR/EHR systems
• Prioritize data accuracy, uptime, and patient safety across the stack

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Proficiency in Angular, .NET Framework 4.0+, ASP.NET Core, C#, ADO.NET, Web API, MS SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self‑motivated, organized, and adaptable team player
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment
• Capable of training peers and support team members
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
