Company Description DevSecAI is the creator of Arko, a cutting-edge IDE-integrated security engine for AI-powered development with our own AI models. With a focus on embedding security into the build process, Arko helps modern teams building Apps, APIs, Agents and AI models to ensure secure development practices. By analysing architectural elements, data flows, and vulnerabilities, ARKO provides real-time security insights directly within the IDE. This solves the limitations of traditional static security tools by offering contextual threat models, prioritisation of risks, and actionable remediation guidance. Based in London, DevSecAI bridges the gap between development, security, and compliance in one seamless workflow. We are also preparing for Mythos roll-out when the model is available - allowing quick deployment for our customers. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role based in London for a Software Engineer focused on IDE and SaaS platform development. You'll be contributing to the successful VS Code and Cursor extensions that are Arko's front door - real-time analysis pipelines that have to be fast enough to not break developer flow, and sharp enough that engineers actually trust what they see. Your opinions will shape the future architecture.

Your code will be in front of enterprise engineering teams within weeks. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, with an understanding of fundamental concepts and systems Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development tools and methodologies Solid experience with Programming languages and paradigms, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Knowledge of DevSecOps concepts, security best practices, and compliance frameworks is highly desirable Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and their integration into development workflows Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Experience in AI, APIs, Agents or security-focused projects is a plus Experience with Bedrock and model deployments and training. Experience with AI/ML environments or IDE-integrated tools is a plus 8 Years Experience In Software Development
