Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Software Engineer Sr to join a high performing team focused on software in a DevSecOps development environment for the Maintenance Systems (MxSys) Line of Business. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Java programming language, agile, and testing.
Location: Fort Worth, TX.
Responsibilities
- Work on software design, software code, and software tests in the MxSys DevSecOps environment.
- Contribute to full software development lifecycle with a focus on Java applications.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or above in a technical discipline.
- Experience in full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with the Java programming language.
- Experience with databases.
- Experience with web-application tools: Maven, JUnit, SonarQube.
- Experience with object-oriented design and development.
Desired Skills
- Experience with GitLab, pom file, helm charts, Vagrant.
- Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with microservice-based architecture design.
- Familiar with C++.
- Oracle or Postgres experience.
Security Clearance
This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance level: Secret.
