Contract Software Developer - Full Stack (Azure, C# & React) - Immediate start Duration: 6 months initially Contract Type: £450-500pd - OUTSIDE of IR35, Full time hours (37.5 per week) WRK digital are delighted to be shortlisting for Contract Software Developers with strong full-stack capabilities across .NET/C# and React applications for a leading Financial Services client. The Tech Stack Database: SQL (queries, views, and stored procedures) Infrastructure: CI/CD pipelines and application architecture The Role You’ll be working in an agile development team on systems within the financial services sector. The team are developing high-quality applications with a focus on data integrity, compliance, and scalability.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Contract Developer with an understanding of modern best-practice software engineering and experience in regulated environments. What You’ll Be Doing Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using C#, .NET, and React. Create reliable data solutions by writing and optimising SQL queries, views, and stored procedures Work hands‑on with development teams, reviewing code quality and maintaining architectural standards Support CI/CD processes, release pipelines, and coding best practices Engage with business stakeholders to determine technical requirements (Bonus if you have experience of core banking platforms) Contribute to systems supporting KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) compliance processes The contract is an initial 6-month engagement working with this Yorkshire based team (must be UK based for occasional travel time), with strong potential to extend or transition to a permanent role.
