Software Engineer

Role: Full Stack Software Engineer C# Salary: up to £60,000 (doe) Location 2 days a week in South Essex An opportunity has opened up for a creative, detail-oriented Full Stack Engineer to join a growing and forward-thinking InsurTech business. This role offers the chance to work across the full stack, building and enhancing web-based products as part of an ambitious and evolving digital roadmap. What you’ll be doing: Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications from the ground up Writing clean, efficient, and scalable code using best practices Collaborating with designers, developers, and business stakeholders Building and integrating REST APIs Improving and enhancing existing platforms Core skills required: C#, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core, MVC JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, Bootstrap Experience with debugging, testing, and deploying web applications Understanding of web security principles (e.g., OWASP) About you: Ideally, 3+ years’ experience in web development Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident in communicating with stakeholders Please only apply if you are happy and able to work 2 days a week onsite in the South Essex area.
