Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline GenerationProactively identify, research, and engage target accounts through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels. Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities from outbound efforts. Develop and execute strategic outreach campaigns tailored to specific industries, personas, and use cases.
Leverage tools (e.g., CRM, sales engagement platforms, data providers) to source and prioritize leads.
Sales Execution & PerformanceOwn the full outbound sales cycle from initial outreach to deal closure. Consistently meet or exceed KPIs including outreach volume, meetings booked, pipeline generated, and revenue targets. Run structured discovery calls to uncover pain points, decision processes, and buying criteria.
Deliver compelling product positioning and handle objections effectively in early-stage conversations.
Account-Based Selling & StrategyBuild account plans for high-value prospects and multi-thread within organizations. Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers, crafting personalized engagement strategies. Continuously refine messaging based on market feedback and campaign performance.
Collaboration & FeedbackPartner with marketing on outbound campaigns, messaging, and lead quality. Provide feedback on target segments, ICP refinement, and competitive insights. Work closely with product and leadership teams to relay market signals from outbound efforts.
Market Intelligence & Continuous ImprovementStay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer needs. Experiment with new outreach techniques, messaging angles, and tools to improve conversion rates. Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline forecasting.
REQUIREMENTSExperience & Skills2–5 years of outbound sales, business development, or SDR/BDR experience in SaaS or tech. Proven success in cold prospecting and generating pipeline from scratch. Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Experience with consultative selling methodologies (e.g., BANT, MEDDICC).
Tools & Operating RigorProficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft). Experience using prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo). Strong discipline in activity tracking, sequencing, and pipeline management.
