Our client is a Pune based, one-stop provider of high grade, standard and custom designed dosing systems to meet all specific Oil & Gas / Process applications for dosing, injections and metering’s needs. They are manufacture of Chemical Dosing System and Chemical Injection Skids in accordance with international quality standards.
Company has solid foot prints in Oil & Gas, Power, Process Industries in domestic cum international markets. They are Approved/executed projects with IOCL, MRPL, HPCL, BPCL,Oil India, Cairn India, ONGC, HAL Offshore, GHCL, GACL, MECON LIMITED, NTPC, BHEL (PEM / PE&SD / Piping centre / Ranipet/Trichy/HPVP), , Thermax Ltd. etc.
Job Title: Sr. Project Engineer/Project Manager - Oil & Gas / Dosing Skid, Process Equipment Manufacturing.
CTC Range: 5 LPA To 7 LPA Work Location : Pune
Working Days: 6 (Thursdays will be week off)
Job Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Job Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects related to process equipment and dosing skid manufacturing within the oil & gas sector. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end execution of projects including dosing skids, process packages, and fabricated equipment.
• Review client specifications, technical documents, and contract requirements to define project scope.
• Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and monitor progress against milestones.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Engineering, Procurement, Production, QA/QC, and Dispatch.
• Liaise with clients, consultants (EIL, MEIL, HAL Offshore etc.), and third-party inspection agencies (TPIA).
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
• Monitor procurement activities and vendor performance to ensure timely material availability.
• Track project costs, control budgets, and manage variations/PO amendments.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and submit progress reports to stakeholders.
• Handle risk assessment, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure timely inspections, FAT, documentation, and final dispatch clearance.
• Support commissioning activities and resolve site-related issues if required.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of process equipment, skid-mounted systems, and fabrication practices.
• Understanding of P&ID, GA drawings, datasheets, and engineering documents.
• Project planning and scheduling tools (MS Project/Excel).
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness including costing, billing, and contract management.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Production Engineering.
• PMP certification (preferred but not mandatory).
Experience:
• 4-5 years of experience in project execution within oil & gas / EPC / process equipment manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in skid-based systems (Dosing Skids, Chemical Injection Packages, etc.) is highly preferred.
