Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities/Skillsets: Hands on experience in analysis design of steel components in buildings like high-rises, stadiums, pedestrian bridges, airports, malls, industrial sheds etc.Knowledge of international Codes and StandardsUnderstanding of loads & load pathsUnderstanding of Seismic and Wind load parameters with code design approachesKnowledge of various steel profiles used internationally.Knowledge about Steel connections to concrete.Ability to work in a team, lead a team of junior engineers and technicians to deliver quality drawings and documents.Preparation of technical reports & presentationsPreparation of Bill of QuantitiesPrepare Design criteria reports, presentations.Good communication skills and interpersonal skills in English.Should be open for short travel and deputation to other countries/offices, when required.Technical report writing skills.Exposure to construction techniques and practicesAbility to read and comprehend drawings of other trades - Architectural, MEP etc.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve structural engineering problems encountered during design process.Stay updated on the latest industry trends. Requirements:Candidate should have core design experience of 3+ years mainly in design of steel structures.Good experience of using software like SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD-Pro, Idea Statica, Ram connection, Limcon etc.Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCADWork experience in Gulf countries with international codes preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in structural engineering from reputed institute preferably through GATE qualification
