Job Description
Superintendent
Our Superintendent will:
- Lead day-to-day on-site construction operations for K-12 and higher education projects
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and field labor to ensure adherence to project schedules
- Enforce jobsite safety programs, OSHA requirements, and district-specific safety standards
- Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and phasing plans to minimize disruption to ongoing school operations
- Conduct daily site walks, quality control inspections, and progress tracking
- Coordinate inspection schedules and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and local codes
- Work closely with Project Managers on scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and change order execution
- Maintain clear communication with owners, architects, inspectors, and school administrators
- Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain daily reports and site documentation
- Mentor and support Assistant Superintendents or field staff as projects scale

The ideal Superintendent will:
- 5-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Prior experience with K-12, higher education, or public-sector projects strongly preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules in occupied or phased construction environments
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods
- Excellent leadership and subcontractor coordination skills
- Deep commitment to jobsite safety and quality control
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar field management tools
- Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally on-site

- Base salary range of $110K-$130K depending on experience
