The Role
The Supply Chain Compliance Analyst will oversee and coordinate all compliance issues related to supply chain and logistics initiatives, as well as product design, ensuring alignment with all internal and external policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Research and evaluate global environmental, safety, consumer protection, competition, taxation, and end-of-life management legislation; analyze impact on new and existing products and communicate business implications across design, cost, supply, and marketing for B2B/B2C sales
- Understand global statutory and regulatory requirements across markets and product portfolios
- Manage global product import and export requirements; implement strategies to streamline and proactively manage these processes
- Review product marking, packaging, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Evaluate costs and requirements for entering new markets
- Develop and optimize compliance and released product support processes to ensure adherence to regulations and industry guidelines
- Act as a technical resource within cross‑functional project teams
- Manage and coordinate updates, reviews, and ad hoc requests with external service providers
- Review, approve, and sign off on environmental and safety documentation for bills of materials to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain and manage compliance documentation, ensuring accessibility for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure understanding of regulatory requirements and accountability to deliverables
- Manage product extended producer responsibility programs across regions (electronics, battery, and packaging waste)
- Manage Business Continuity Planning processes
- Ensure global Procurement Standards are tracked, reported on, and monitored
- Identify opportunities to improve sustainability through metrics, measurement, and review processes
- Enhance quality management systems
- Support and develop device repairability in line with global regulations
Skills
- 3–5+ years of experience in global product regulatory compliance within an electronics company
- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multitask independently in a dynamic environment
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Strong risk evaluation skills to balance due diligence with budget considerations
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with third‑party testing laboratories supporting certification/type approval and restricted substances testing
