This position exists to ensure supply chain continuum meets customer-driven timelines, and supports Purchasing by generating and tracking non-stock purchase orders.

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepares outbound packages for shipment
- Schedules carrier pick-ups and maintains records of all outbound shipments
- Kit raw materials for production Work Orders
- Works in customer portals to perform shipments
- Works with carriers for any special shipping requirements
- Works with other departments to coordinate shipment details (quantities etc.)
- Executes cycle counts and investigates and determines remediation plans for variances
- Processes pick/ship tickets, prepares material for outbound shipments, and expedites/resolves backlog issues
- Procures Maintenance, Repairs, Operations (MRO) and non-Production Purchase Orders
- Processes non-stock purchasing requisitions through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a material management capacity in a manufacturing environment
- Familiar with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, i.e. Oracle and E1 required
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Windows, Outlook)
- Requires strong math aptitude
- Self-motivated and goal driven with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Maintain high level of transaction accuracy
- Employee is occasionally required to stand
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk
- Occasionally will need to bend, stoop and squat
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Required to reach with hands and arms to handle documents and products
- Must be able to enter data into a computer by use of a key board and mouse and be able to sit for long periods at his/her desk as well as occasionally visit employees throughout the building to gather data and clarify information
