BCTG’s direct Life Sciences client is seeking a Supply Chain/Manufacturing Consultant to provide strategic and hands‑on leadership across end‑to‑end Supply Chain and Manufacturing business processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong domain expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing and external manufacturing, with the ability to assess, engineer, and solution complex business processes spanning Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Quality, and Labs.
This role serves as a critical liaison between the business and technical teams—translating business requirements into effective, scalable solutions that drive digital transformation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end business process assessment and engineering across Supply Chain and Manufacturing domains.
- Partner with functional and technical teams to define business requirements and translate them into system solutions and digital capabilities.
- Develop and maintain business process and data flow diagrams to support solution design and documentation.
- Drive cross‑functional alignment across business units, external manufacturing, quality, and labs.
- Define and prioritize business requirements for solution development and deployment.
- Support solutioning activities including fit‑gap analysis, process optimization, and system enablement.
- Serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders and IT development teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Operate at both a strategic level (process design, governance, and architecture alignment) and tactical level (hands‑on process mapping and solutioning).
- Contribute to digital and supplier collaboration initiatives to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging technologies (AI, automation, data architecture) and recommend opportunities for process innovation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in business process ownership, business analysis, or solution architecture roles within pharmaceutical manufacturing or supply chain.
- Strong domain expertise across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Quality, and Labs.
- Proven experience with external manufacturing and supplier collaboration processes.
- Demonstrated ability to design and document business process/data flow diagrams and drive process improvement initiatives.
- Hands‑on experience working closely with technical teams to translate business needs into solution requirements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and executional levels in a complex, global environment.
- Experience in digital transformation or AI/architecture initiatives is a strong plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
