Webb Associates (WEBB) is seeking a talented Survey Technician to support our land survey and mapping team in delivering accurate and high-quality survey data for a variety of projects.

Hybrid schedule- one day in office!
Responsibilities
- Survey Mapping: Prepare subdivision maps, parcel maps, topographic surveys, plats, and other survey-related exhibits using AutoCAD Civil 3D, in accordance with industry standards and agency requirements, under the supervision of a licensed land surveyor.
- Construction Staking Setup: Prepare cut-sheets, alignments, point files, and coordinate calculations from construction drawings to support field survey construction staking activities.
- Data Processing: Download, process, and manage field survey data, including GPS and CORS data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and proper file organization.
- Boundary and Alignment Analysis: Assist in developing base mapping for boundary and alignment surveys to support design and right-of-way efforts.
- Research: Perform research of land survey-related data from local agencies, including survey field notes, title reports, recorded maps, filed documents, and legal property descriptions.
- AutoCAD Drafting: Produce detailed exhibits, plans, profiles, cross sections, digital terrain models, and quantity calculations using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and project teams to ensure survey deliverables meet project requirements, schedules, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of survey drafting, mapping, or related technical experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including the preparation of survey drawings, layouts, and mapping exhibits.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from construction plans and survey documents.
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, surveying, geomatics, or a related field preferred
- LSIT (Land Surveyor in Training) certification or progress toward licensure.
- Familiarity with public agency survey standards and subdivision mapping requirements
