Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Partner will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. They will partner with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, develop creative staffing solutions, and manage the entire recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.

Experience and Education
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience: 3 years of progressively responsible experience in one or more areas of talent acquisition. Additional years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Job Duties
- Responsible for all facets of Talent Acquisition for UT Southwestern Medical Center, including tracking vacancies, monitoring applicant flow, developing effective advertising strategy, identifying appropriate applicant referrals, and assisting departmental management throughout the complete talent acquisition process.
- Conduct intake sessions to ensure minimum and preferred qualifications of roles, create an effective recruitment strategy, and become the subject matter expert. Screen and review all candidate applications based on department requirements and preferred qualifications.
- Provide concierge service through virtual and on‑site meetings, send reporting to the hiring manager to update on recruitment process. Respond to hiring managers and candidates within Service Level Agreement.
- Interpret policies and procedures for complex and variable issues and make recommendations for exceptions to policies and procedures within assigned area(s) of specialization.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and recommend development of processes as required, and perform research on hiring practices.
- Perform competency‑based pre‑screening of candidates in response to vacancy requests. Refer pre‑screened candidates to departments for consideration. Maintain contact with departments concerning feedback on referred candidates.
- Collaborate with departments in assigned area(s) of Human Resources to identify issues, make recommendations, and implement policies and procedures.
- Attend job fairs, post positions on internal and external websites, and develop new Talent Acquisition sources.
- Assist in training or job orientation of newly employed and/or assigned professional staff members.
- Provide direction to departments on Human Resources issues pertaining to salary, job description development, VISA issues, and candidate qualifications.
- Negotiate job offers with candidates and departments. Create placement notifications, and schedule new employee orientation.
- Provide backup assistance to peers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
