Job Description
Seeking a skilled Visually Impaired Teacher for a contracted position in a school setting located in Collierville, TN. This role focuses on providing specialized educational support to students with visual impairments, helping to enhance their learning experiences and promote independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored for students with visual impairments.
- Deliver direct instruction in braille, orientation and mobility, and use of assistive technology.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure effective integration and support.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
