A school district in Forney, TX is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) for the 2026-2027 school year. This itinerant role offers an opportunity to work across 10 campuses on alternating days, providing specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students. With an office located at the administrative annex, this position requires a commitment of at least 37.5 hours per week and managing a caseload of approximately 25 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and services to visually impaired students to support their educational needs.
• Travel between 10 campuses, fostering strong relationships with students, teachers, and staff.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Utilize adaptive technology and resources to enhance learning and accessibility.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in meetings, training, and professional development as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired.
