Teacher of Visually Impaired in Katy, TX

This opportunity is for a visually impaired teacher to provide districtwide itinerant services within a public school setting in Katy, TX. This onsite contract position offers a schedule of 32.5 hours per week from ASAP through July 3, 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction and support for visually impaired students across multiple school sites in the district
• Develop individualized educational plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists to integrate services effectively
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and service delivery in compliance with district policies

Qualifications:

• Valid TVI (Teacher for the Visually Impaired) educator license as required
• Experience working with visually impaired students in a school environment preferred
• Ability to manage an itinerant caseload efficiently across multiple locations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders

Location:

• Onsite throughout schools within the Katy, TX district
