WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS TEAM LEAD CONTROLROOM?

As Team Lead Controlroom, you have a crucial role in the Control Room's performance! This department is responsible for allocating workload resources, machinery, and workstations within the logistics processes. You align these with the production schedule.

You steer the team in the right direction to achieve this schedule. Where deviations occur, you guide the team into the right direction again. In your analyses, you identify opportunities for improvements in cost savings, efficiency, and quality.

These important responsibilities allow you to act as a sparring partner for Operations, the Management Team, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment between each other's needs and expectations. Besides achieving performance and developing schedules, your role is to elevate the team's individual development to an even higher level!

As Team Lead Controlroom, you will:

• Coach and lead a team of Equipment, Operational, and Process Control Room Specialists;
• Advise operations on the most efficient use of people and resources;
• Maintain system oversight to safeguard process flows and ensure continuity;
• Facilitate communication between operations, MHE partners, and the control room;
• Safely start up and manage systems such as the Warehouse Control System and Warehouse Management System;
• Contribute to improvements in machine and warehouse performance;
• Test new or modified equipment on technical system variables; and
• Identify patterns in machine disruptions.

WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO WORK?

You’ll be working at our Bleiswijk location, where we have a warehouse no less than 140,000 m². This location handles logistics for Zalando: a major customer in eCommerce, specialized in shoes, clothing, and fashion accessories. Automation is a key focus in this warehouse.

You'll become part of the Controlroom Team, which includes Operational Controlroom Specialists, Process Controlroom Specialists, Equipment Controlroom Specialists, and IT Controlroom Specialists. The atmosphere is characterized by passion and professionalism, with plenty of room for fun and connection! You'll report to the Manager Controlroom and lead a team of 20 employees.

WHY IS THIS ROLE FOR YOU?

Do you recognize yourself in the following qualities?

• A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Management or Logistics or a similar field;
• Five years of relevant work experience in a logistics or production environment;
• Leadership skills and managerial experience for several years;
• Organizing skills and stress resilience;
• Professional command of speaking and writing in English and Dutch;
• Flexible attitude to work in shifts;

• A gross monthly salary between € 3.627 and € 5.318 plus 8% holiday allowance (scale depends on your work experience and education level, among other things);

• Travel allowance from a 10 km home-work distance;
