Location/Travel Details: Dayton, OH
Illumination Works is looking for a Technical Project Manager to drive data-focused client execution and strategic planning and coordination with client. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, and aligned with organizational goals as well as assisting the client with strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities and skills for this position include:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise data analytics and data science initiatives, ensuring alignment with client mission objectives and digital transformation goals
- Serve as a strategic advisor, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance data-driven decision-making and long-term capability growth
- Partner with stakeholders to shape and refine project vision, translating mission needs into actionable technical roadmaps and deliverables
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and architects to ensure technical solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with best practices
- Drive Agile project execution using tools such as Jira, managing backlogs, sprint planning, and continuous delivery cycles
- Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans, schedules, risks, and status updates to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Act as a key liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication, expectation alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction
- Promote and support strong data governance practices, including data quality, lineage, security, and compliance within all project efforts
- Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements, technical standards, and performance expectations
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- 7+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the DoW
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or comparable academic discipline
- Project Management Professional certification is a plus
- Must have Secret Clearance (this requires US Citizenship)
- Acceptable candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background screen
