Must live within a drivable distance of either Juno Beach, FL or Palm Beach Gardens, FL for 100% onsite, one-year contract. No per diem or relocation is being offered.
Your Day-to-Day
The Portfolio Manager will manage our client IT project portfolio, intake process, risk management, portfolio dashboard and portfolio operations, metrics, and alerts. Your role will involve tracking the health and performance of the overall portfolio and individual projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify problem trends and create alerts for project managers and solution managers to inform them of latest risks or issues with their projects and portfolios.
- Train project leads and solution managers on our processes, tools, and best practices.
- Conduct monthly portfolio reviews with Client IT VP, solution managers, and project leads to examine projects at risk, facilitate project-data-based strategic decisions, and create mitigation plans.
- Provide one-on-one support for project leads managing critical projects/programs.
- Updating project budget, actuals and forecast for IT funded projects.
- Following up on action items from Portfolio Reviews.
- Meet with each Solution group every month to review their understanding of the Project Governance standards and address any issues that may prevent their alignment
- Hold monthly office hours to train, educate and support Project Leads
Who You Are
- Education: Associate degree in engineering, Project Management, Land Surveying, or a related field is required, with PMP certification preferred.
- 5 years minimum of project/program management experience.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, to be $40/hour to $45/hour.
