divh2Spray Foam Technology Specialist/h2pThis position is responsible for the evaluation, qualification, and implementation of spray foam technology, as well as providing technical service and support on spray foam products and applications. This role will be responsible for maintaining a high level of technical and sales management of spray foam products within the residential and commercial market space./ph3Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliProvide sales/technical assistance to partners and customers on Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation products. Support will include phone, email, and on-site field visits./liliProvide Sales support to both applicationsdirect distribution customers./liliProvide authorized applicator training using the Carlisle SFI Application program./liliSupport product management with codes, standards, and regulations./liliParticipate in cross-functional teams where new technology might be developed./liliAct in accordance with company policies and best practices./liliDevelop new business and maintain current business within the designated territory./liliMeet and exceed the designated sales budget on a consistent basis for the business year./liliMaintain consistent and timely documentation for all sales-related activity utilizing designated databases and manual processes./liliFollow through on all new leads and referrals presented from internal and external sources./liliPrepare and present sales presentations, proposals, and quotes./li/ulh3Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/h3ulliDirect experience with insulation, coatings, building envelope systems, and/or roofing systems./liliEffective written and verbal communication skills, including a high level of effective presentation skills to individuals and groups./liliStrong organizational and time management skills/liliAbility to use the scientific method of hypothesis and experimentation./liliProficiency with Microsoft Suite, as well as other web-based applications such as customer relations management systems./liliDemonstrated focus on delivering optimal customer service directed at meeting customer needs and company goals and objectives./liliAbility to influence key external stakeholders in the design process./liliMust have a valid drivers license and possess the ability to travel as needed by vehicle or aircraft./li/ulh3Education and Experience/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliMinimum 3-5 years Sales experience in the Spray Foam industry, with at least one year of technical troubleshooting experience with Graco, PMC, and/or other manufacturers equipment./liliDirect experience with SPF Wall Insulation systems, coatings, and building envelope systems.
Knowledge of building codes, HERS ratings a plus./liliStrong knowledge of building science principles and best practices./liliMust have strong organizational skills and be able to work independently./liliDemonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint); other web-based applications such as Customer Relations Management Systems (Salesforce), etc., required./liliMust be willing to travel up to 70% of the time, depending on business needs./liliEffective oral and written communication skills required. A high level of effective presentation skills to individuals and groups is required./liliDemonstrated record of influencing key external stakeholders in the design process./liliEstablished relationships and contacts within the design community is desirable./li/ulh3Working Conditions/h3ulliSome work will take place in an environmentally controlled office environment or the employees home, but visits to external customer sites will be necessary. Such visits could include exposure to hot or cold temperatures and various types of weather conditions.
Exposure to fumes and chemicals is also likely./liliStandard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some work after normal business hours or on weekends may be required to support business demands./liliRequired travel is estimated to be up to 70%./li/ulpNote to California applicants: Per the states Wage Transparency Act, the range for this position is $100,000-$150,000. Actual salary could be greater based on education, experience, and other qualifying skill sets./p/div
