The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings and proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS).ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disordersConduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) (required) and Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) (preferred)Collaborate with medical staff to develop individualized treatment plansDocument patient progress using Allscripts/Sunrise charting systemMaintain compliance with hospital policies and professional standardsRequirementsCertifications:BLS (required)ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) (required)MBSImp certification (preferred)Experience:1+ years in an acute care setting (required)Outpatient experience (preferred)Clinical Fellows not acceptedAdditional Requirements:PASSPORT IN HAND REQUIRED for travelFlights not reimbursed (candidates should factor round-trip airfare into pay expectations)Compensation & BenefitsPay rate: $75.00-$78.00/hourOvertime: 1.5x after 40 hours/weekHoliday Pay: 1.5x for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor DayCharge Nurse Pay: Additional $5.00/hourOn-Call Pay: $10.00/hourCall-Back Pay: 1.5x of base rateAdditional DetailsWeekend Requirement: May work 1 Saturday per month if census is highFloating: Not requiredRTO Policy:Must be approved before contract startsMax 3 consecutive days, max 7 total daysNo RTO can be added after contract beginsUniform: Navy blue preferred; any solid color allowed
