Transport Supervisor

Bangalore International SchoolBangalore International School (BIS) is seeking an experienced and responsible Transport Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of the school's transportation services. Role OverviewThe Transport Supervisor will be responsible for the overall management of school buses and vehicles, including routing, scheduling, driver supervision, compliance, and parent coordination. The role reports to the Facilities Manager / Head of Operations. Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, implement, and audit school bus routes and schedulesEnsure safe, cost-effective, and efficient transport operationsSupervise and evaluate drivers, bus monitors, and transport staffMaintain accurate records of buses, routes, students, drivers, and attendanceAddress and resolve parent, driver, and staff concerns related to transportCoordinate transport for field trips and special school eventsMonitor vehicle maintenance, driver logs, and daily operationsRecruit drivers, verify antecedents, and manage duty rosters and leave recordsPrepare monthly reports on transport operations and staff performance

Eligibility & SkillsBachelor's Degree or Diploma (mandatory)Prior experience in transport management (school experience preferred)Strong supervisory, communication, and coordination skillsKnowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety standards, and record-keepingSchool bus driving license will be an added advantage
