Overview
Sustainable Talent is partnering with Nvidia, a global leader transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for over 25 years. We are looking for a Vehicle Integration Engineer to support our client\'s AV Operations Team in Santa Clara, CA. This is a W-2 full-time, short-term contract role.
We offer competitive pay ($60-$67/hr, based on experience, education, location, etc.) and provide full benefits, PTO, and company culture.
Responsibilities
- Debug/maintain and integrate systems into vehicle platforms
- Triage reported in-vehicle issues (sensor, ECU, vehicle communication, data logging equipment, software, and more)
- Solve vehicle communication issues, design solutions, and raise incidents where necessary
- Be hands-on (including disassembling) in vehicles to determine root causes of reported issues
- Serve as the “first responder” for vehicle issues
- Raise suggestions for improvements to avoid reoccurring issues with the platform
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience diagnosing automotive bus systems and working on vehicles (disassembling and assembling parts) with demonstrated proficiency
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering (Automotive, Electrical, IT, or similar) or equivalent experience
- In-depth experience with ECU communication/protocols/technologies (e.g., CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
- Experience with diverse automotive sensors (radars, cameras, ultrasonic, LiDAR)
- Strong technical problem solving ability and attitude
- Extended computer experience (ECU flashing, IP/Ethernet, Linux command line) and excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekend and/or evening shifts
Nice to Have / Additional Skills
- Computer-savvy with scripting languages and Linux OS
- Excellence in troubleshooting Automotive Electronics installations
- Experience with state-of-the-art automotive bus analyzing tools (e.g., Vector CANoe/CANalyzer)
- Experience with sensor calibrations for autonomous driving platforms
